LED walls built for the room, not the brochure
The screen is the one object every delegate looks at for the entire event. Getting its size, ratio and brightness right for the actual room matters more than the panel spec on the quote.
FlaminQo Events specifies, rigs and operates LED walls and screens for corporate events across Maharashtra and Goa — conference backdrops, product-launch reveals and award-night stages, from a single backdrop screen to a multi-surface stage build. Screens are part of our in-house production rather than a bought-in line item, so the team that designs the stage is the team that rigs it and runs it on the day.
Most LED briefs arrive as a size: we need a twenty-by-ten screen. The more useful starting point is the room — how deep the seating goes, how far the back row sits from the stage, how much ambient light the venue throws in, and what the content actually is. A screen that looks right on a plan can be unreadable from the back or overwhelming from the front row.
Pixel pitch is the number buyers are usually told to care about, and it matters less than viewing distance. A tighter pitch costs more and is wasted if nobody sits close enough to resolve it; a coarser pitch is invisible from the back and perfectly fine. We size the pitch to the nearest seat rather than to the spec sheet.
The part that goes wrong most often is content. A deck built for a standard 16:9 frame and then shown on a custom-ratio wall has to be letterboxed or stretched, and that usually becomes obvious at rehearsal when it is too late to redraw. We issue the exact canvas size and pixel map before design starts, so whoever builds the content builds it to the real surface.
How we deliver led walls
- Stage backdrop screens, side screens and delay screens
- Custom-ratio and multi-surface stage builds
- Canvas sizing and pixel maps issued before content is designed
- Playback, media server and show-file preparation
- Rigging, ground support and cabling to the venue's requirements
- On-site technician through rehearsal and the full event
- Screen tests under the venue's own lighting before doors open
- Built as one job with the stage, décor and lighting
Where this brief comes up most
- Conference backdrops for 50 to 900 delegates
- Product launch reveals built around a single screen moment
- Award and R&R night stages with winner graphics cued to the run sheet
- Dealer meets and town halls playing the same content across rooms

Questions we get about led walls
What size LED wall do we need?
It's decided by the room rather than the guest count — specifically the distance from stage to back row, the ceiling height, and how much ambient light the venue has. Send us the venue and the seating plan and we'll size it. A screen chosen from a size list alone is usually either unreadable at the back or oversized for the space.
Does pixel pitch matter?
Less than most quotes imply. Pitch only needs to be fine enough for the nearest seat; beyond that you are paying for resolution nobody in the room can resolve. We match it to the closest viewing distance in the actual layout.
Who prepares the content that plays on the screen?
Either your team or ours. Whoever builds it, we issue the exact canvas dimensions and pixel map before design begins, because content built for a standard 16:9 frame and shown on a custom-ratio wall has to be letterboxed or stretched.
Can you work alongside a venue's in-house AV team?
Yes, and at hotel properties that is often the arrangement. Rigging points, power and load-in get coordinated with the venue's team as part of pre-event planning rather than negotiated on the day.
