Privacy notice

What we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 7 September 2026

FlaminQo Events collects personal data only when you choose to send it to us — through the enquiry form, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp. We use it to respond to your enquiry and to run any event you book with us. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

Who we are

FlaminQo Events is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described in this notice. We are an event management and production company based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Registered address: Suraj CHS, NIBM Road, Salunkhe Vihar, Pune 411048, India.

What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form on this website, we collect the information you enter into it:

  • Your name and phone number — required, so we can identify and reach you.
  • Your email address — optional, used to reply in writing.
  • Event details — event type, preferred date, approximate guest count, budget range and anything you write in the message box. All optional except event type.

We also briefly record the IP address a submission comes from, purely to limit how many times the form can be submitted from one device in a short window. This is held in the server's memory only, is not written to any database or log we keep, and disappears when the server restarts.

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation.

Why we collect it, and on what basis

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before submitting the enquiry form, or by choosing to contact us directly. We use it only to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and answer your questions
  • Prepare a quotation or proposal for your event
  • Plan, coordinate and deliver an event you book with us
  • Keep the records we are required to keep as a business

We do not use your data for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we do not use it to build profiles or to make automated decisions about you.

Where your data goes

Enquiry form submissions are sent directly to our inbox as an email. They are not stored in any database. The only copy is the email in our mailbox.

The following third parties are involved in operating this website, and act as processors on our behalf:

  • Google Cloud (hosting) — this website runs on Google Cloud infrastructure. Google processes standard server request data, including IP addresses, as part of hosting the site.
  • Google Workspace / Gmail (email) — enquiry emails are delivered to and stored in our Google-hosted mailbox.

We do not share your enquiry with any other company. We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.

Third-party content on this website

Two features load content from other companies. Using them shares some information with those companies directly:

  • Google Maps — our contact page and Pune location page embed a Google map. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
  • WhatsApp — the WhatsApp buttons open a conversation with us on WhatsApp. Anything you send there is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

We also display reviews from our Google Business Profile. Those are fetched by our server from Google and shown as published. No information about you is sent to Google when this happens.

Analytics and cookies

Stated plainly, because it is unusual and it matters:

  • This website sets no cookies of its own.
  • It runs no analytics — no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags.
  • It stores nothing in your browser's local storage.
  • It does not track you across other websites.
  • It does not build a profile of you or your visit.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings — kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Client records for events we deliver — kept for the duration of our engagement and then for 8 years, to meet record-keeping obligations under Indian law.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see your rights below.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access — ask what personal data of yours we hold and how we have used it.
  • Correction — ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, or complete data that is incomplete.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data, where we are not required by law to keep it.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
  • Nominate — nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
  • Grievance redressal — complain to us about how we have handled your data, and receive a response.

To exercise any of these, email priyanka@flaminqoevents.com with “Data protection request” in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are before acting, to be sure we are not disclosing your data to someone else.

Grievance officer

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, contact our grievance officer:

If we do not resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website and our services are intended for adults arranging events. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry emails are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in a Google-hosted mailbox protected by two-factor authentication. Because we hold no database of enquiries, there is no separate customer database to be breached.

If a personal data breach does occur, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as required under the DPDP Rules.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal data — for example by starting to store enquiries in a database, or by adding a new third-party service — we will update this notice and change the date at the top before those changes take effect. Where a change materially affects how your data is used, we will ask for your consent again rather than carrying the old answer forward.
