Fabrication is in-house, so a design change two weeks out is a scheduling question rather than a renegotiation with a supplier.
A stage backdrop has a job beyond looking good in the mood board: it has to hold up in every photograph taken that day. Winner photos, speaker shots, the group picture at the end — all of them contain it. That changes the design brief. Fine detail disappears at photographic distance, deep colours can swallow a face, and a logo placed where heads will be is a logo nobody ever sees.
Because fabrication is ours, the design can still move late. Most décor disappointment comes from a mood board approved in one place and built in another, with nobody accountable when the two differ. When the people building it are the people who drew it, a late change becomes a question of lead time rather than of contract.
Décor also has to carry across everything a guest walks past, not only the stage. Entrance, registration desk, signage, table styling and photo wall are part of one design — when only the stage gets attention, the event looks dressed in a single spot and ordinary everywhere else.

Questions we get about décor & backdrops
What makes a backdrop photograph well?
Enough contrast behind people that faces read clearly, detail scaled so it survives at photographic distance, branding placed above head height, and lighting planned together with the backdrop rather than aimed at it afterwards. A backdrop designed only to look good in a rendering frequently photographs flat.
Can the design change after it has been approved?
Within reason, yes. Fabrication is ours, so a change is a scheduling question rather than a renegotiation with a supplier. The real constraint is material lead time, not willingness.
Do you use artificial florals as well as fresh?
Both. Fresh for anything close to guests and on camera, artificial where scale matters more than detail or where an install has to stand for several days. We will tell you which we would use where, and why.
Is décor priced separately from the rest of the event?
It is a line item in the proposal rather than folded into a bundled fee, so you can see what the décor costs and change its scale without reopening the whole quote.
