Staging, LED, sound, lighting, décor and capture under one roof since 2019 — so what you signed off in the mood board is what turns up on the day.

FlaminQo Events has run production in-house since 2019 — LED walls and screens, sound and lighting, DJ and entertainment programming, stage décor and set fabrication, and event photography and film. Because the kit and the crew are ours rather than subcontracted, production is quoted as a line item you can see and adjust, and a design change two weeks out is a conversation rather than a renegotiation with a supplier.

Most event companies subcontract production. That isn't automatically worse, but it has two consequences a client feels. The quote carries a supplier's margin as well as the agency's, and on the day fewer of the people in the room have any stake in the thing working.

We took production in-house in 2019 for the second reason more than the first. When the crew rigging the stage are colleagues of the planner who sold it, a problem at four in the afternoon gets solved rather than escalated. It also means late changes are possible: moving a screen or reworking a backdrop is a scheduling question for us, not a contract variation with a third party.

The five areas below are how production actually gets briefed. Each has its own page because each has its own decisions — a screen is sized from the room, lighting is planned against the run sheet, and a backdrop is designed for the photographs it will appear in.
